 Grade 5 Brown/Correia Supply List


Personal Supplies:

  • Trapper Keeper  1.5 inches  (Amazon #1  Amazon #2)*

  • (5) Five Star two-pocket glossy folders (Amazon)*

  • (1) Five Star 3 Subject Notebook - wide ruled (Amazon)*

  • (1) 100-count package of 3x5 index cards - white

  • (1) 12-pack of colored pencils - sharpened 

  • (1) highlighter

  • (2) package of Expo low-odor chisel-tip dry-erase markers

  • (5) boxes of Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencils - sharpened**

  • (1) black Sharpie (medium or fine point)

  • (1) package of 3x3 Post-It notes

  • (2) glue sticks

  • (1) pair of scissors

  • (1) thin zippered cloth pencil pouch that clips into the expandable file folder (Amazon)*

  • Earbud headphones with a round adapter that will fit into a chromebook

Classroom Donations:  (thank you!)

  • (1) box of tissues (Puffs or Kleenex)

  • (1) container of Lysol or Clorox wipes - no baby wipes, please


*You are welcome to substitute any other closable three ring binder. The 3” binders will not fit in backpacks.  Hopefully, the 1.5” is more manageable.  Additionally, having consistent binders and folders, including colors for different subjects, will be helpful when we organize our work as a group.  Please note that accordian style folders are very hard to keep organized.  Please do not purchase accordion style folders. *Please mark your binder with your name.  


**5 boxes of pencils will not last for an entire year for most students.  This is an item that may need to be resupplied from time to time.  Most students are out by December, but it is recommended to wait to send in more boxes until they are needed.  



Supply Directions:

Follow the following steps to be ready for school…


  1. Place all file folders in the three ring binder (punch holes if needed).

  2. Fill the pocket pouch with the following items…

    1. 1 box of pencils (Students seem to go through pencils quickly)

    2. Sharpie

    3. Highlighter

    4. Scissors

    5. 1 Expo marker

    6. Post-it Notes

    7. 1 glue stick

    8. earbuds

       3.  Clip the pocket pouch into the three ring binder.  


All other supplies can be left in lockers.  Students will need to restock as the year progresses. 

Please do not bring in locker decorations on the first day of school!
